John Pearson just chatting about the players we've got rid of/are trying to get rid of from the Carlos era saying they were picking and choosing when they felt like playing

Also used the phrase "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard"

And he was right..if possible though hard work and 'talent'

I'm sure we used to have that written on the wall in our school changing rooms, along with other clichés such as, 'there's no 'I' in team'.

I'm from a different era . There were various things written on school walls but nothing that the school actually wanted there WTF:

Nail on head. Overhaul was needed. Don’t necessarily have to get rid of the lot, just enough for the rest to get the message that holiday season is well and truly over.

Enjoy your historical views of the distant past whilst getting mugged off by Carlos and the egotistical instagrammers making millions of us and achieving NOTHING.

I'll choose instead to support and enjoy this glorious new era with players who want to play for us

How can it be glorious?

They've achieved nothing yet.

I honestly don't believe ANY Wednesday fan believes that anymore

We all know for a fact that we've had bad eggs at the club who have had our pants down

Apart from Forestieri the rest is mainly speculation. I've never been convinced that we've that many bad eggs.

I just think we held on to too many players for too long and things got stale.
