A point today at home is not enough, this Wednesday team might well be capable of snatching a victory against a weakened wobbly Watford.

Let us pray that we do not return to the Monk routine of being 0-3 after 15 minutes, before waking up.

You might want to reign in your expectations this season a little

Of course three points would be AMAZING but we have to have some kind of sensible expectations

Another one here thinking we're going to walk the league and win every game

Need to win today in order to continue this fantastic run of one win in one.

Play-offs will do.

A realistic target with all these hungry young players led by the new Messiah and his staff.

If we've still got the old Monk then relegation looms...

These will be one of our tougher games this season at Hillsborough. If we don’t get a result it’s not a disaster, marathon not a sprint as the above poster said, and I agree I’d be happy with a point too.

We can beat Watford, every team is beatable in this league and we should be confident after getting the results and keeping the clean sheets we have.

A draw would be a good solid result, but I've an inkling from the improvement so far this season we could maybe sneak it. Watford for one reason or another have a lot of their big hitters missing, so in a way a bit of a patched up side that probably Havnt had too many games together. We keep it tight and don't concede thersa a chance.

Why?

Of course we'd love to get three points, but we don't need them today.

We need to win around 60 points to ensure we avoid relegation, which means we need to average 1.3 points per game. Two wins, two losses and a draw every five games would give us enough points over the course of the season.

It's a marathon, not a sprint.

We need to break the Hillsborough hoodoo...send a statement

Since we beat Cardiff 2-0 and now they're beating Forest 2-0, that surely mean's we should be able to beat Forest 4-0. It couldn't possibly be a bad season if we're capable of beating Forest 4-0 away from home.

Wait.. hold on.

Why wouldn't we after beating Walsall and Rochdale....

Watford are no mugs, still got most of their prem squad so 1 point would be a result today. If we can have a decent September to set us up for October which includes fixtures against Wycombe, Rotherham and Luton, then we're in as good a place as we could have hoped.
