SWFC Manager appeals to all fans of the club

Recommended Posts

Also not a fan of his but agree.
Posted up something very similar on a thread recently that we as fans need to stay calm when the inevitable first defeat comes.
I think there’s enough quality in the squad  to stop up but let’s not think it will be anything else other than stopping up because it won’t.

Unfortunately it’s not the players or the management and administrators that loose their livelihoods (or if they do they get a nice pay off) it’s the people that keep the club going. - ticket office staff, ground staff, office staff etc etc.

Sort your team out Chansiri and Monk and make sure it doesn’t happen!

Run the club better and relegation isn't an issue.

Stop blaming the fans.

Where in that statement does he blame the fans ?

Some of our own fans appear to want things to turn to sh.e1te just so they can wave their anti-club agendas about.

It’s quite bizarre isn’t it that people’s minds work in this way, I know one “fan” who will actually admit he wants to us to go down so he can be proved right about Monk.

Crazy!

Clean slate needed. We can’t change what’s happened, It’s much easier to put things behind you, and make progress, if everyone around you is supportive, rather than waiting for you to fail.

Staying up this season is ALL that matters, and we as a fan base all want that, surely?

For me, the key phrase in all of that is: "we need calm in that support".

And that cuts both ways. The extremes we've seen on here in recent times don't do us as a fanbase or the club as a whole any favours.

There's no point listing the clubs Monk's been sacked by to try to prove some wider point after every defeat, but equally there's no point posting a form table or win ratio stats for the season after a solitary league game.

The two extremes just encourage each other to up the ante whenever a result suits their take, with neither particularly interested in the detail or reality of the situation.

We're in for a battle this season. Level heads are going to be needed.

Spot on.

Every single one of us will get behind any Wednesday XI that gives their all, even though the minus 12 isnt of our making.

Maybe this site could take a lead as some of the threads started seem hell bent on dividing the fanbase at the moment.

No they don't

For instance yesterday I posted a positive thread saying 'hey everyone! now we've won three games on  the bounce, kept three clean  sheets, got Rhodes and  Windass scoring etc - does that give you a little bit more confidence for the season ahead?' and got BLASTED by the Monk Haters for it.
