This match should only be used for preparation for upcoming league games. If we lose c'est la vie Agree to a point, but a good Cup run may give the players a bit of fire in their belly, the possibility to play(and maybe beat) some top notch opponents,& hopefully this will follow through into the league
alanharper
This cup run isn't going to make much of a profit to help with FFP. If the prize money is the same as last year we'll only be getting £22k for making it to round 3 - and we'll have had 3 lots of travel/hotel expenses to pay as well, which is usually covered from the gate receipts before they get split between the clubs and the EFL. Sefton owl
I wouldn’t say ‘the shackles are off’ because even though they got promoted i think they are more than beatable, they will be prioritising the league and inevitably will rest some players. Lets not forget what we did at Brighton as well

It would be great to have 5 reliable CBs in JVA, Lees, Iorfa, Borner and Dunkley. Fierce competition is brilliant.
Quist
If we could beat them I would not mind us putting in a loan bid for Knockeart as I do not think in first XI. Alays useful at Champonship level.
Mickjj
Draw for the fourth round is tonight after the Bournemouth v Brighton game. I suppose if we draw an Arsenal, Man City type there maybe more incentive to win
1/10/1983
Fulham put out a pretty strong line up this week; seem to be taking it quite seriously. Think our team will be very similar to those who played at Rochdale.
