I was clearly making the point to say he has won 100% of games this season making him the best manager ever is frigging the stats Well that's Neil for you. Not a fan of Monks from the very start due to the style he uses. But I won't be calling for his head as we need to stop this sacking managers soon as they hit a sticky patch. Hopefully he has done the dirty work by clearing out some bad apples if the rumours are to believed. He has an experienced and committed backroom staff behind him now which must have taken so much of the workload off him already. We must back him and accept that at times results will go against us. Saturday will be a big test, I really believe that should we win against Watford then we will overcome the points deductions and go on to have a reasonable season under the circumstances, we do need to strengthen in attack first and foremost but all over the squad needs to be strengthened.

You’ve had too many e-numbers tonight. I agree with your positivity, just think we we learn more from our first defeat and how we handle it than a win away at Rochdale. I hope you are right. I hope Monk has got his Alex Fergson style first season out of the way. It seems that way. We certainly can't afford a repeat of the post Xmas meltdown this year. In all probility, it wasn't Monk's fault and we won't have Contractaggedon again, not this season at least.

striker
Had a lot to prove and doing his talking on the pitch so far this season. Long way to go, but looking good so far. DC must have seen the problems were not of Monk's doing. Which ever way you look at it, it very difficult for the manager in that situation. Players are always looking for their next contract, whether that be at their current club or elsewhere.
