beloved_aunt
Always been an under rated part of his game IMHO. Put him ahead of Hunt when they were battling for one RB slot for example. That’s an assist from a RWB cross in his last start for Scotland and for us in the space of a week. Certainly another option.
Popular Post Ellis Rimmer
I would hardly say it's underrated, he's not very good at it usually-though he's looked like TAA tonight against poor opposition, let's not get carried away
Otley Owl
Hunt had a decent cross on him, he got a lot of unwarranted grief. Fair play to palmer, lovely cross this evening. Put another decent one in by the sounds of it, good stuff.
jrh
His crossing has always been a weakness in his game in my opinion (still better than Jack Hunt's crossing) but he's put some great balls in tonight. Hopefully he's been learning from Robertson
areNOTwhatTHEYseem
It's taken him since April 2018 to notch his previous two assists and then he pops up with two in a week! Let's hope he's found his touch now. Edited September 15, 2020 by areNOTwhatTHEYseem
Guest
Crossing has generally been poor but looked fantastic tonight, put in 3 or 4 really good balls. Wasn't sure he could play as a wing back, but if he keeps up his crossing like that he can do a decent job.
Beholder
Consistently good delivery throughout the game. I'd play him Saturday.
sammo
Definitely looks like he's been working on it - always been a weakness in his game. He was afforded a lot of space today - but in the past when he's had that space he's not used it well enough. I think Palmer right hand side, Harris left is probably our best wingback partnership currently. Nothing against Penney - I just still think he's got a bit to learn defensively. frastheowl
Real contender for MotM tonight. Constant outlet, great assist, and used the ball well throughout. Maybe, we are OK at wing back after all?

Quist
Palmers all round game as come on significantly in last couple of years. He was always better defensively but started to improve going forward and tonight he did really well. The aerial cros for Kachunga was excellent and the one along the ground for Windass was superb. Any defence would have struggled with them. Looked competent all evening but so did most of team.
cowl
Seemed to purposefully pick one of our players out from a cross for once. I hope he can make a habit of that now.
