Folk on here think it's funny, but this sort of thing could happen to us. Dephon Chansiri personally owns our ground, but whoever gets it upon his death might not be keen on just handing it back to SWFC.

If DC  is clever here we could benefit financially. DC decides he is prepared to rent out Hillsborough to Barnsley but SWFC then complain to DC that by having a 2nd tenant this will increase the wear and tear in the pitch and have a negative impact on their ability to play the brand of football they are hoping to. DC agrees with this as a kind hearted landlord and agrees to reduce the rent SWFC pay to use Hillsborough by say 50%. While this might not be an increase in income it is a reduction in expenditure which amounts to the same thing in essence.

It was hilarious that they were on their soapbox about other clubs not having their house in order and the poor implementation of the rules. Whilst they were a paragon of the EFL.

Then it was revealed they don’t even own their own stadium and have their own money disputes.

Thats true.

But in the context of the comments made by the club about others and then this comes out...

I think it’s pretty clear that their owners don’t have the money their fans seem to think they do.

Hope they go into administration.

Just read up on the French thing, as I had no idea. Makes their moralistic stand on us look quite ridiculous now. People in glass houses and that!

What happened?

I'd happily rent Hillsborough out to them. We'd have to be careful on the share deal though. If its with the stadium's company then we won't get any FFP benefit. If they pay SWFC rent that might work.

Can also see them trying to ground share with Rotherham.

Millmoor was still standing last time I drove through Rotherham

They were vociferous in wanting us penalised quickly so we would be relegated......................so F O !!!

No let's welcome them to our ground. It would kill their fans to be in our debt after all the verbal about points deduction.

If we can benefit in anyway for FFP then absolutely offer to help.
If we don't i'd be happy to see us take the moral high-ground and help them up tbh, as long as they eat some very humble pie in one way or the other.

Tired of clubs against clubs dragging eachother all down, would be nice to start trying to lead being collaborative or something (even though we rarely seem to be the ones to kick up a fuss).
