The Pig Propaganda Machine rolls into action again. Should have won? The way Mitrovic played it was virtually 12 v 10, and they still couldn’t win.

I'll settle for them getting one point in every four games.   But yeah jammy gets and was never a penalty either.

I was hoping their 100% loss record was going to continue a good while longer!

Probably not bribing the refs as much this season.  Dirty cheating gits.

I'm hoping they get a new one for their honours board this season:

"2020/21 lowest number of points in a season!"

What’s he on about here? Playing the pauper card again.

‘We are not in a situation where we can spend £400m on defenders, that is the competitions we are in. It is relentless and it is not just one of the top teams it is right the way through. We can't deal with those sorts of figures so we have to go a different way and the different way is the likes of Aaron Ramsdale and Brewster and a little springing of Billy Sharp."

He’s actually turning into a parody of himself now. Almost Gary glitteresque

Not looking good for them is it? The momentum of recent years has halted and one or two who have been performing above themselves seem to have lost the confidence. Brewster is an excellent signing but there are echos of their last promotion where they didn’t buy enough quality and almost planned to go down and come up. Villa have been scattergun but seem more likely to kick on now.

To lose O’Connell to injury and not buy a replacement is a head scratcher.

They play the big club and little club when it suits them. End of the day they get the same tv revenue as many of the clubs above them but perhaps don’t have the finance of an owner willing to spend like villa or fulham.

Didn’t matter last season though and they haven’t done much recruitment. It was a buyers market this “summer” with bargains to be had

Did he actually say that?
