"This season" is a bit strong

Last few weeks maybe

And in a turgid season for opposition

Wait until the euros

he'll get found out

Unless Pep has actually drilled it into him that its not a crime to defend when it is necessary

Doing him a bit of a disservice there. 19 games played and 2 goals conceded.

Can’t be looked past that.

Bit harsh that, the opposition in terms of attacking options hasn't deteriorated dramatically this season, he is just playing better. It is possible for young players to improve with good management.

Hinchcliffe with the sympathy MOTM vote for Werner.

He's played well enough, but the lad hasn't scored for seven years.

He's quickly gone from top striker to a player who puts a shift in.

I absolutely guarantee that some pigs claim Werner fouled Ramsdale rather than vice versa

Hope Wilder says it, would be hilarious, mugging himself off on Sky!

Watched so much Premier League football during the pandemic.

I really like Reece James at Chelsea, until he got injured. Only just got back in the side now. He was playing really well both defensively and going forward. Great engine on him.

MOM for me today.
