How embarrassing for Newcastle

They'll never live it down

Quick, re-write the all time "Toon Tragedies" compendium of embarrassment:

Hereford United 2 - 1 Newcastle United.

Watching Ronnie Radford's blinder every year for eternity on Match of the Day credits.

Kevin Keegan "Luv it" interview.

Mike Ashley.

Sheffield United 1 - 0 Newcastle United.

WTF:

So they beat the mighty Pirates 3-2 then. Now they're all set for a win against a PL team apparently? How's that follow?

If Bruce hasn't worked out how they play by now, he wants milking.

They'll double up down the flanks & try & get in round the back & put crosses in for their misfiring forwards.

You're welcome.

Just had an online interview about a job. Started off with the usual 'How are you?' pleasantries.

His reply, "I'm better now I've just seen Sheffield United win."

:duntmatter:

Clearly a dodgy company to work for!

Tottenham, man utd, man City and Chelsea are 3 of their next 4 in the league. Can't see them making much ground up with those fixtures

Sadly it was bound to happen sooner or later. Looking at the table now another few wins and they could be back in the mix on around 10 points.

They've got Spurs, Man United and Man City next 3 games.

I caught a bit of the build-up to the game on 5 Live, and they were discussing how nobody wanted the 'stigma' of being the first Premier League team to lose to Sheffield United.

I'm pretty sure I saw a post on Facebook last night claiming clear evidence of a PL agenda in that United should be given fixtures against three big clubs immediately after gaining their first win...

Urgh. He can milk himself, useless tw@

What a shocking performance. One upfront against the worst team in Europe this season ffs.

Wasting time at throw ins & goal kicks from the 20th minute.

Thankfully, all the pigs record breaking for being crap is now registered in the history books 👍

I’ve stayed up all night so far, staring into the night sky. I had presumed the grunters would have organised a plane with a banner.

Then again, maybe it was too dark, so I’ll have another look tomorrow.

"The trouble with "lessons from history" is that we usually read them best after falling flat on our chins."

"Girls are simply wonderful. Just to stand on a corner and watch them go past is delightful. They don't walk. At least not what we do when we walk. I don't know how to describe it, but it's much more complex and utterly delightful. They don't move just their feet; everything moves and in different directions . . . and all of it graceful."  Starship Troopers, Amen!
