I'm actually gutted, they may start to pick up a few more points without him starting. Yes, I agree. Tufty was playing the new recruits for political reasons - it doesn't look good when you spend a fortune yet continue playing the old guard. But injuries to them have let him off the hook, so he can now legitimately bring the old guard back. McGoldrick has improved them, and it probably would have been 0-3 to Man Utd the other night had he not played. I still can't see them staying up, but it probably won't now be the complete humiliation that it would otherwise have been. Derby's record will probably now stand, unfortunately. With the old 'uns back, I can't see them failing to get another 7 points between now and the end of the season.

McGoldrick has been playing all season and they were awful today in midfield without Berge, at 11v11 they had 20% possession. No team should get as low as 7 points from an entire season but I can't see how a fortunate point at a side that has less home wins than we do this year is any sign of vast improvement. Guest Bulgaria
Of all his signings Brewster is without doubt the worst. He looks a Div one player. Berge, they will make money on as he looks a player, McBurnie they would get at least 10 million for.

They would be lucky to get 10p and a bag of peanuts for McBurnie.

And that's why I was so disappointed when he got injured. Wilder's insistence on playing him was only making United's situation even worse. Unless he has a very good season back in the Championship

Same old failing with him, he doesn't stamp himself on a game. That's why no top team came him for him.

I will be surprised if he doesn't get offers at the end of the season.

I understand that is the going rate for average players these days but you said he was a good player, not seeing much evidence of that and his 2 seasons in the PL will make others think twice about paying that sort of money and matching his humble wages. bradowl
Only caught last few minutes of today's game, Berk was just missing a easy chance to put them 2-0 up as I switched on. Brighton should have won it at end with the header that hit bar.

Hey, I am no fan of his but I think he would do well in the championship. I read somewhere that even though he ain't scoring much his stats are rather good even in the premiership. No clean sheet in this run and only scored more than 1 in a game once. All this from the team that was apparently producing their best ever season last season. That's pretty bad Makes you wonder if the Bogrollsheik just wants the parachute payments
