SiJ
Do you pronounce it Berge or Berger? Cause I've heard both used. If it is Berger, then they look to have signed a right whopper.

Django
Leeds at the weekend is looking like a huge game. If they fail to get 3 points then they could be in for a slog
Maddogbob
Oh they were playing again? Lost again you say? Bit annoying that.
Django
Tough looking division this year the PL Apart from maybe West Brom and Fulham, there’s not many weak sides I doubt they’ll go down but I’d be amazed if they get anywhere near the top half
DobbinTheDonkey
Punt down the middle is a massive weakness for them but that's what happens with your over lapping centrehalves.

markowl
Let's not be too harsh though, they are level on points with Manchester City. Edited September 21, 2020 by markowl
SiJ
Ramsdale isn't in the same league as Henderson, is he? Early days, but he's looked flat footed on a couple of goals already. Still massively reliant on the core of players who have served them so well in previous seasons. None of the more recent recruits have made the level of impact you would expect, particularly considering some of the fees splashed. McBurnie puts himself about a bit, but I can't see him ever been prolific at this level. Berge still looks to be struggling to adapt. Strangely, the one who impressed me most was Ben Osborn towards the back end of last season...not sure what that says about the rest of them. There's more than enough dross to keep them up (Villa look absolute gash again), but it might be a bit of a slog this season. They really need to get a quality striker in. Can't be a poorer set of strikers in the division.

The Hoppy Hopper
I’ve just look at the weekend fixtures; can’t believe I’m cheering Leeds on, but this week I am. I’d like to see how well the pigs’ fabled team spirit stands up to a really bad start.

Westfield Owl
Some right embarrassing posts in here. I mean, it’s amusing that the humble ones have 0 points from two games. But let’s not forget they didn’t exactly get off to the best of starts in 2016 or 2018 and look how those seasons turned out, They’ll end up 10th - 15th this season. Not exactly much to laugh about IMO.
