2nd best imo.

At the risk of getting slaughtered on here, I'm going with Cafu as best.

Caf..WHO!

I will raise you Carlos Alberto

If Nilsson played in either of those two Brazil sides he would have stood out a mile with his class. All are excellent in their own right.

Not old enough to remember him (apart from the clips wheeled out every 4 years at World Cup time) as he won it before I was born, so maybe /maybe not.

But in the 50 years since, and to the best of my knowledge, Brazil have only reached the final on 3 occasions.

Cafu played in every one of them, and was captain last time they won it,

I believe he is also the most capped Brazilian player of all time.

If you don't agree then fair enough but, considering the above, hardly the worst suggestion really, is it?

Wednesdays best ever player

Be worth £100 million in today's stupid valuations

It's hard to argue with that. A case could be made for Waddle and Ron Springett but for a period Roland was considered the worlds best right back. And he played for us!

He doesn't get the accolades he deserves because he didn't play for man u or Liverpool

So sky sports act like he never existed
