I’ve been saying the same that he looks a striker to me.  You just have to look at his Owls and Rangers goals to see he’s got it in him.

could be really good for us

I think the lad potential and he’s a unit so he doesn’t get knocked about like forestieri, Bannan etc. His physicality has a shade of the Hirst snr about him......just needs the goals to go with it but it’s a damn good start

Ran his blood to water today, took his goal really well and was in the mix every time the ball went in the box.

He's impressed me since he signed on loan.  Let's hope he can be a real player for us.

He has the instinct and movement of a striker and provides options for the midfield. I don't think you can train this into a player that's why Reach can't play this role.

It showed when he came on last week and even more so today.

I like that he’s direct and with his shooting doesn’t really try fancy stuff, just generally hits it hard towards a corner. I think in this league that’s what you need rather than over complicating the finishing.

Don’t know why the negative fans was turning their nose up at him

thought he did really well and contributed last season and he’s started fantastic again

no player will have an easy day when tasked to mark windass the boys an handful

really like him

I bet he contributes to more goals this year than anyone else in the form of both goals and assists combined

Have said all along he's a killer striker

Well done Windass

He’s got good technical ability, work rate and can strike a ball. Delighted and ecstatic at the win.

£500k there’s no complaints from me.

He managed 7 goals in 24 games last season for 2 clubs in an injury hit season.

If he can play 40 plus games who knows what his return could be.

I didn’t think he looked like a striker but he went some way to changing my view today.

Pacy and bags of effort. That was some finish too.

IMO striking is all about partnerships - it was very promising today between he and Rhodes.

Go on YouTube, watch his goals from when he played at Rangers. He scored for fun.

Might be another one of those occasions where the player and the club are destined for each other, like a hand fitting a glove.

I just have a little feeling about Windass you know.

Where abouts?
