Spurs might be winning atm but they look stale to me, I can't see Jose lasting the season. They need freshening up and a stronger defence. With a bit of belief the Saints could still turn it around. Spurs look disappointing and going backwards like Man United. The likes of Chelsea; Arsenal, Wolves, Leicester and Everton, appear more progressive and perhaps the strongest of the bunch outside of Liverpool and Man City.

Cough.

This penalty business is completely wrong. How on earth is  that a pen at St Mary's?

worse than the one at old trafford yesterday. Stupidity beyond belief.

Absolutely ridiculous and it came through VAR. Teams are going to start aiming at arms to get a free pen

About time they ditched VAR I can't think of one benefit its brought to the game.

Whilst I despise VAR I don't actually think it's at fault here. Someone has come up with a ridiculous handball rule and they're just working to that.

I'm talking more generally. Not even seen the handball in question

That was a kiss of death but stand by Spurs still looking poor last season and so far this season. Southampton were the better side first half but got picked off in the second half playing a high line. Son and Kane were ruthless.

Newcastle look like they're going to get spanked by Brighton, the Seagulls look much improved and impressive so far. Hope I didn't give another kiss of death by speaking too soon again. :ghoulguy:

Son and Kane are two world class performers imo.

With Bale coming in, there really aren't any excuses for Jose.

At the very least, Spurs should be scoring plenty.

Yeah they'll score plenty but will they keep them out at the other end? I still think they'll be lagging far behind Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea, and by the looks the likes of Arsenal; Wolves, Leicester and Everton too.
