You can waste your time putting up a fight for something the club is guilty of. Let’s get on with it, move away from this train of thought that the club are treated unfairly. i remember back in the early 70's heading home late at night from playing cricket in sheffield, i was a teenager in the car with 3 adults, and as was the norm we'd all had plenty to drink. 5/6 pints and driving was the norm, if your drove on the wrong side of the road, you missed all the drunks coming the other way. we were stopped by an ordinary police car on penistone road, who informed us we were speeding, the bloke riding shotgun for us worked for the police as a crime photographer, and said to the copper 'is the speedo in your escort calibrated?, if so when was it last done?' the officer said nothing, and left. I agree the club is guilty of breaching the rules, but imo the rules are completely ridiculous so I have no problem with the club appealing The EFL may say that these rules are there to protect clubs and fans but they didn’t seem too bothered about the Wednesday fans when they were trying to relegate us last season did they? What have we done wrong? What have the Bolton, Wigan and Bury fans done wrong? Legal representation won’t be required. Last time I got done for speeding I went on a speed awareness course and the instructor said there was an allowance of 10% of the speed limit plus 2 mph. I was doing 58 in a 50 limit. 1 mph less and I would have been ok.
