If you have been a fan of Wednesday for long you should know better by now.

If you are relatively new to supporting the Wednesday you'd better get used to it.

ST holder since 86 so yeah, I'm used to it.

TBH it's not a massive deal to me, im not having a go at the club at all and I understand they probably don't have the full information at this point, I just thought it might be an idea for them to give me some indication what I might expect to get for the £400 odd quid I gave them 6 months ago.

A basic holding statement as Spookone suggested would be enough and would take them 5 minutes to write.

There's a lot of talk about re-engaging with the fan base, this kind of thing is the basic level of that imo.

I can understand not knowing about refund for season coming up.

Impossible to know how many games will be behind doors and how many fans will be let in when open to the public.

But think its shoddy not to have received a refund yet for last season.

Received other refunds for other things were cancelled over the summer.

Guess which is the last one I am waiting on.

If they released that statement I'd just think 'you've said nothing so what's the point, what about my money for last season that finished ages ago'

I think that's why they haven't said anything

So you'd rather there was just silence and every man and his dog speculated over what was going on?  Rather than just being told what's going on but that you'll have to wait for further clarification?

Just not bothered...

No, I do agree with you but I think that the club are keeping silent on this because they dont want to encourage more questions about last seasons refunds. It hasn't been handled well

If you've paid for a service/product and it isnt delivered you are entitled to a refund.

As it stands I've paid to be in the ground for our home games. If that isnt going to happen I want an immediate refund pro rata to the undelivered product.

I could appreciate last seasons problems. This is different.

The silence is unacceptable.

You appear to be in a minority

I don't believe the club have refunded anyone yet, and possibly I can understand that.

Grandad is basically saying to you what a lot of people are thinking.

Be honest I'm not bothered what anyone thinks like I posted before I have had my refund just short of £130

Great, it would appear you are in the minority though.

Also thought you would have took the option to watch the games.

At the risk of upsetting people......am I alone in thinking that getting any kind of refund is fortunate given the circumstances?

Had the players taken a pay cut I would have told the club to keep my refund.

That's fair comment and I may have said the same in that position.

Do we know if the club asked the players to take a cut? Obviously, it's contracted to pay the players, I suspect the T's & C's of a season ticket sale are most likely are very much in the clubs favour and the refunds are effectively a gesture of goodwill by the club....?
