It was nearly right.

Dean Windass moves closer by going to Goole AFC as chairman..........................trouble is he jacked it in after 8 days.

So now Dean Windass moves further away. lol

We have always loved leaving it late in the window to get most of our business done why would it be any different now?

we have but this season is different. We start on -12. We need to be fully prepared from the very first game. We can’t afford a slow start to put us further behind.

As mentioned in the other thread, it’s a team game, and I’m not sure I saw any evidence that he could lift our fortunes Him and Rhodes would be a League One pairing, and that’s where we’d likely end up

And it's raining and I've left my washing out.

Aren't we playing Leicester this weekend? Not exactly a smart match to arrange with such a depleted squad, the team bonding will be really put to the test.

Yep - start with a thumping and then move down until you manage to scrape a result. Oh wait....haven't we already played the Dingles (albeit the U23's)?

Nixon on twitter says we are getting Widnass for £450k.

Thought we could have got him cheaper with them in their position.

Seems a bit high, when they only got £800,000 for Lowe, a much better player

I thinks it’s because Wigan owe Rangers 450k for Windass still so administrators can’t go lower.

Might be that wages are a sticking point or/and length of contract. No other clubs seem to be bidding but administrators have set their price.
