💤💤💤💤 Pochettino was fired by espanyol and fired by Tottenham. Very few managers don’t get fired throughout their career.

Comparing Monk to Pochettino.

Like comparing a Ferrari to a unicycle

I listened to the interview and its nothing we haven't heard before and let's face it, its all down to what happens on the pitch.

But one thing I'd like to hear is, instead of just about having a team that will fight, why does he never talk about quality?

I'd like to here him talk about having quality players and playing a certain style.

We all want a team to give 100% effort every match, but quality is just as important!

So if he talked about what you wanted him to talk about what then?

Would it makes us into a better team?

Enjoyed the interview and I am completely subscribed to his ‘vision’ of unity and a fighting spirit. First and foremost, we need to ensure we do not get beat or concede more than one goal per league game.....ever. Good teams both defend and attack as a unit. Goals need to be shared around, coming from all areas of the team. I am also confident that we will sign a couple of out and out strikers. We must be able to offer unbelievable wages, given what we have cleared off our books.

We haven’t cleared the biggest earner tho. Just think, we could 2-3 really strong squad additions with that. Unless there are restrictions in place.

I’ve been missing out on a whole lot of depravity, although I draw the line at a “three ringed circus”.

That's got me a tad worried now Sarge ..

Only time I've heard that saying used is by my dear mother ....

Many years ago she'd very often state that with all the bedlam us three kids could generate it was like being in the middle of a three ringed circus ...

I'm seeing her Saturday should I pressure her for further clarity ?

It might have a different meaning now.

I don’t want to cause offence to someone you hold so dear.

Although I’ve no problem offending some of the clowns on here.

I’m not making a direct comparison, merely pointing out that all managers get sacked. I keep reading he’s a poor manager as he’s been sacked by brum, sacked by boro and sacked by Swansea.

Apart from Guardiola, Klopp, Ferguson, (wilder?) I cant think of any other managers that haven’t been sacked in their careers.
