Competing in a loan for the centre back with Blackburn and Huddersfield- according to Alan Nixon. Obviously would be a decent player, but how many central defenders do we need? Surely the focus now should be on strikers?

Can’t see why, we now have 4cbs , seems to me more of one of those just linked but can’t see it going anywhere

Eh? 4? We have 6/7. Iorfa, Lees, Dunkley, Borner, van Aken, Urhoghide and also Palmer if we are sticking to a back three. Only way he’s coming is if someone leaves.

Could be looking for another solid defender as Monk has finally decided Lees and Van Aken are not up to the quality needed to compete in the Championship and will let go if anyone will take them

4 as in borner lees dunkely borner

palmer and urghohide aren’t cbs really just can do a job , suppose van Aken yes but can’t imagine him playing unless he improves massively

6ft 3 this lad so with him, Dunkey and Iorfa offer plenty of goal threat going forward as well as being able to cope with the long ball at the back. He scored 6 goals in one season (it was in the Scot Prem..)! 23 year old so once again a good age if we can agree a loan with a view to permanent and he impresses.

Really encouraging the types of players we are looking at. All are younger, more dynamic with either pace/power/strength. Just need some strikers which have the above now!

What a field day the transfer windows are for the Sports Reporters. Drop a name somewhere and we are after him

i'm sure that may of these chaps sit at home with their preferred web site of available players and stick pins in  sicewe seem to bethem to decide who the next player is that we will be after.

I wonder what sort of staff numberwise we have.

He’s what you are, bottom half of the championship quality, with potential to be much better with improvement. Good match for each other.

You could count the  number of goals he scored in one season in the Scottish Premiership on one hand.

We need another option on the left of a 3. Börner's had the odd niggle, Fox has gone, and JVA is tosh. But, I'd hope for someone more mobile than Lindsay. That's why I got a semi when someone posted a coupla players started following Kortney Hause.

A dingleberry is a term for a small piece of poop clinging to the butt of a human or animal. It's sometimes used as a way to call someone “foolish” or “stupid.”

Very apt.😁

That's five.

Urhoghide is naturally a centre half. Palmer has been converted to centre half in a back three. It’s seven!
