Good Luck Dele he sounds very mature,confident and humble and sincerely hope it works out for him. As we sorely need a beast in the middle a Toure box to box.

Not saying he’s going to be as good as Yaya, but it’s interesting looking at Yaya’s career that until 21/22 years of age he was largely unknown playing at a couple of unglamorous clubs scoring only 6 goals in 100+ games over 4 years.  So you never know how teenage players will develop.  Let’s hope we’ve got a good one, but no pressure tho!

'Wasters' might be a bit harsh (maybe not - I dunno), but I definitely don't think we had enough players of the type Monk wants in order to play his style of football.

 

As @oldishowl says, Monk seems to prefer athletic teams who can outrun the opposition and we now seem to be adding players to fit this type of football.
