Sanchez_Jenks 89
Fessi against Huddersfield. I just knew he was going to miss from the moment he started walking up, so I was nervous for what was coming after 4

I was 9 years old, couldn't get tickets so watching it at home on the telly. As a kid I loved penalties and was so nervous and excited and looking forward to the penalties I ran upstairs and went to the toilet in the 119th minute so as not to miss the start of the pens. Then ran back downstairs only to find there wasn't going to be penalties after all. True story.

alanharper 33,307
The 2005 play off final MacLean pen definitely, it was probably the worse one he ever took for us as well but it snuck in. Zico in the last minute against Chelsea in 1984.

Big Rons Hairspray 600
Chris Waddle against Wolves. In the scheme of things it didn’t matter too much but was gutted for the great man.

How we didn’t win that I’ll never know. Wilson could have even nicked it in the last minute. Great match tho.
jamiejohn 562
I was worried stood at the back of the kop that colin west would knock my head off with his penalty against luton. Fortunately it sailed over me

robowl4life 3,371
Off top of my head it was Maclean at Cardiff. I’ll never forget that day. Can’t say I felt anywhere near as sick and nervous for play offs against Huddersfield as I knew soon as full time whistle went... this shits going to penalties and that’s us done. Still wee wees me off though as it was such an opportunity missed out on. We just didn’t seem to have that hunger.
Utah Owl 16,738
Play off final 2005 without a doubt. So much was riding on that.
qantas 752
I'd say Sterland's in the 4-4 draw with Chelsea, a lot of people had left & came sprinting back in when they heard we'd got the penalty in the last minute....Zico did the business though.
