Depends on Greek law. A few years ago my daughter was in a bar with.an ex-boyfriend. A bloke walked up to them and without warning tw@tted her boyfriend who instinctively hit the bloke back. The police were called and despite CCTV showing he'd been attacked her ex was charged with assault and ended up with a fine £80 IIRC.
