That’s it, we need to show that there is a pathway. We’re they ready or not I don’t know but would have liked to have given them a try in a good team rather than bringing them into a bad one when we did or are now. Bullen must have been tasked with stiffening up the U23's. How many hungry U20's could you recruit in exchange for Rhodes weekly wage? We have exactly the same predicament with the U23s, as we have with the first team, just the one striker. This guy was reasonably successful for Everton’s age group, so he has to be worth a shot for our development squad? A few more signings in forward areas for the U23s like this will be needed, not just for their season, but to help out with any shortage in the first team. Guess until we hear officially from the club, nothing is confirmed.
