Guest
Absolutely disgusting really from the EFL To get away with unfounded claims of aggravated misconduct, and a more or less racist accusation is beyond belief really Still, people will defend them against DC

The commission disagreed on both fronts. #SWFC Surely wide open to allegations of racism. Then the ELF should have arranged an independent interpreter accredited to act in such proceedings (at their expense). They do it for criminals.

We also have a wealth of fans and journalists who've spoken with him over the years who could vouch for his linguistic capabilities. Unless he's been pretending all this time as well? Maybe they used big words?
Guest The Claw
If this is the case then surely you would have enlisted the help of an interpreter , Fikkin council do it all the time!
CalmJimmers
I'm not entirely sure if it is racist or not, but it certainly seems like an unsupported accusation against DC, one that seems to imply him being dishonest. I'm genuinely baffled by this, they are supposed to be a professional organisation, if you do think he's misleading you pay for a translator for goodness sake. Don't point the finger at him with nothing to back it up.

One that 'supports' the club's interests or one that goes 'directly against' the club's interests, invariably choose the latter. The evidence is starting to show beyond any reasonable doubt that the EFL have acted in a anything but good faith and yet as Royal D says some on here are still putting their dislike of DC above the interest's of the club they are supposed to support. At least they show their true colours and they don't seem to be anything like blue & white. 23
Nero
From the horses mouth.... The EFL is committed to ensuring that football is inclusive of all communities and free from discrimination. We are dedicated to promoting equality on the grounds of any *protected characteristic as defined in the Equality Act 2010. Everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and the EFL is committed to eliminating all forms of discrimination incorporating direct, indirect, associative or perceptive discrimination and all forms of bullying, harassment and victimisation. How does that policy from the EFL align with the comments made by their representative below and struck out by the tribunal as unacceptable? 3

That is the same level as my arabic and I regularly have to use an interpreter when on business in the ME. I speak good arabic but not good enough to cover deep legal issues etc

Nero
Its the hypocrisy that gets me. All the guff on their website about discrimination and racism - and in a fekkinn tribunal in front of a QC they make potentially discriminatory and racist comments when it suits their cause. I'm feeling like a complaint on this could be forthcoming very quickly...
