penrhyn bay owl 182
As per title. Will we start the season on -12 or zero points pending the appeal? 1

pazowl55 8,431
Is it simple that, either it's one or the other not -9 or -6 points that it could be reduced to. Because if this is the case then I think we will lose the appeal.

WalthamOwl 18,832
I would guess we will start on -12 and points will only be taken off if we won the appeal.

areNOTwhatTHEYseem 44,775
Isn't worst case scenario that we appeal and get found guilty of both charges, thus receiving a harsher sanction? That seems very unlikely based on what's been published this morning, but is still a possibility, isn't it? At least that's what was suggested by the football law expert on Radio Sheffield few weeks ago: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p08mh1bb
striker 7,580
We'll start with -12, but hope by the end of the season, that is reduced on appeal.

0114 4,486
-12. I don’t think we will win an appeal. It’s pretty apparent the stadium was sold too late meaning we broke FFP.

You can't just move the goal posts because other people have complained about the decision you've made which is what the efl have done . Oh yeah its fine no problem . Oh I've had second thoughts so you've broken the rules I said you hadn't .
Lythamowl 1,972
double or quits ! 0 or -
alanharper 32,618
Imagine if we get it reduced to -9, and then finish 4th bottom, 2 points clear of Barnsley or Boro...

It’s pretty apparent the stadium was sold too late meaning we broke FFP. From the information published this isn’t apparent. Nor is the reason why the deduction goes in next season, not 2 seasons ago. The EFL shouldn’t get to pick and choose. I only know what’s been published today but this seems like a strong appeal.
