He had injuries which he didn't fully recover from.

He didn't get a run of games. He was played out of his best position. He didn't have a manager who knew how to handle his eccentricities. He was passionate and probably a bit of a joker which some people didn't understand. He was exciting to watch but not quite good enough to turn it on every game. He needed the right manager to get the best out of him.

He also needed some people to forget his Norwichgate escapade which he apologised for to the fans, his team mates and the chairman. He was accused of racialism which was never proved but hung over him for nearly a year I think.

Handled properly he could have been a huge positive for us.

In life you have to accept somethings which you don't like to get the things which give you greater benefits.

Are all our wives perfect?

Are we perfect in our wives eyes?

Anybody who answers yes to either of these questions are kidding themselves.

Fernando should/could have been what we need next season if he kept fit and was dealt with by a manager who knew how to accept his failings to benefit from his attributes.

All the best from Fernando's appreciation Society president

4 managers since Carlos left and it’s all down to them.

Ultimately players like Forestieri are ten a penny.  Talented enough for sure, but without the real application it takes to fulfil their potential.  Can’t quite believe he still warrants a thread when it’s been 3 years since he really performed for us.  The only person responsible for his decline is Fernando himself in my view.

You should told Chansiri, could have saved him a fortune 😲😲

So he will be easy to replace. I wonder how far we get into the season before someone posts on here “ we haven’t replaced FF”

Just forget it. He apologised after realising he was wrong.

Yep fair enough the club did, but my point was he’s abit of a bellend. No excuse for that apology or not. I still wanted him to play

Yes, I think we should be able to find someone who contributes more to the team effort than Forestieri has done for the last 3 seasons.  Different story had he performed at the level of 2015/2016 on a consistent basis since then.
