I could see them both doing well wherever they go. Just with a fresh start and then wanting to prove themselves. FF went off the boil here some time ago but he’s a quality player. Ideally he goes abroad to avoid the obligatory goal at Hillsborough.

Always got the impression he was susceptible to his agent whispering in his ear. Whether that was Fletchers wage or Fulham interest. But ultimately it was that incident at Lincoln that stopped us being able to recoup some money for him.

Why what happened at Lincoln?

Fernando Forestieri had the talent to play in the Premier League.

The reason he has ended up having such a mediocre career (comparatively to his talent) is entirely down to him and his attitude.

Hutchinson...with the right manager he will excel and do a very good job for the team. The question is finding the right manager.

So if you know so much about him why have you owned a thread asking where he’s going.

Have you checked to see if your shoelaces aren’t tied together ?

FF not risky on a free on reasonable wages...in fact totally risk free if you ask me...reckon hutch ego mite prevent him from signing for a few clubs

'Reasonable wages'? I think his view of that, and yours mate, would be a little apart....We will see if a Championship Club comes in for him or Hutchinsons alleged 'London' Club showing interest...story's...(His Agent allegedly doing a good job for him? who knows..?..)

I think FF & Ati will play there footie abroad,Hutchinson i dont think will be much sought after,at his age,and alleged injury problems..(there will be an alleged 'Rhetorical bad smell' around these too,& Westwood in my view, that may put off potential suitors...)

seasons not far off now,we will soon know,

Thanks for the name drop Sergeant. Wasn't aware my appreciation of the little man was so widely know.

He is going to team up with my favourite manager Mr Mick McBoringarthy.

Hopefully Fernando gets a club that appreciates him more than many of our supporters did.

:duntmatter:

He literally turned up to training on a child's bike to emphasise how little he was getting paid, we should have never let him off for that

That's something the club captain would have taken care of in the old days when football was still football 😔

Why should our fans appreciate him? Not done much for 3 years apart from collect his huge salary.

He had injuries which he didn't fully recover from.

He didn't get a run of games. He was played out of his best position. He didn't have a manager who knew how to handle his eccentricities. He was passionate and probably a bit of a joker which some people didn't understand. He was exciting to watch but not quite good enough to turn it on every game. He needed the right manager to get the best out of him.

He also needed some people to forget his Norwichgate escapade which he apologised for to the fans, his team mates and the chairman. He was accused of racialism which was never proved but hung over him for nearly a year I think.

Handled properly he could have been a huge positive for us.

In life you have to accept somethings which you don't like to get the things which give you greater benefits.

Are all our wives perfect?

Are we perfect in our wives eyes?

Anybody who answers yes to either of these questions are kidding themselves.

Fernando should/could have been what we need next season if he kept fit and was dealt with by a manager who knew how to accept his failings to benefit from his attributes.

All the best from Fernando's appreciation Society president

So its everyones fault bar Fernandos?

I appreciate your loyalty to him but I fear it is misguided.

Where did I say it was everybody else's fault?

If a manager has a quality player then he needs to be able to deal with him.

Danny Wilson a classic example of a manager who couldn't deal with top class players.

With all the excuses you made for him.

Ultimately players like Forestieri are ten a penny.  Talented enough for sure, but without the real application it takes to fulfil their potential.  Can’t quite believe he still warrants a thread when it’s been 3 years since he really performed for us.  The only person responsible for his decline is Fernando himself in my view.

and what would you class as his best position?
He showed his best when playing on the left hand side.
