Contract expires next season, so options are we can cash in now and use those finances to help other areas or we allow another player to run their contract down and leave for nothing. OWL1969 Posted August 14, 2020 Share Posted August 14, 2020 (edited) He might be okay, playing the sweeper role, as a ball playing defender, but unless the defensive side of his game has improved dramatically, he would need 2 "proper" defenders alongside him.
