Downes , Hughes , Monk , Paxaio

All have input, the club don’t hide it ? How many times has it been explained and why do we find it so hard to understand

One of them doesn't have an official role at the club, the owner gets very prickly when asked about him, pointing towards his few successes in the transfer market when the reality is there have been far more failures leading to our current situation.

Bruce described him as part of the fabric of the club but he doesn't have a formal job title for swfc and isn't named on the list of club staff on the website.

Liked Venancio, really suited him playing on the right of a back 3.

Only issue is it seems like a Paxo transfer.

To be fair we still have a bit of money left. If it worked once, it can work again.

You have to admire his skill.

He’s the chairman’s advisor, has Chansiri not stated this time and time again ?  He does get prickly when asked , but that’s because he is asked the same question over and over

He’s not going to give you a rundown of every single thing Paxaio does on a daily basis , he works with the chairman and has an input on transfers I don’t know why or how it’s that hard to understand

So his main advisor who doesn't have a formal role within the club?

How do you think the advice he has received has worked for him so far given we are about to start the next season 12 points worse off than everyone else due in the main to the contracts we have handed out and the lack of player sales.

Its just consultancy.

Every company uses consultants for specialist work.

But Its a dog whistle for the 'ordinary working man' who just cant grasp the concept.

But doesnt do his own car service.

Or fit their own kitchen.

Or set up their own mortgage.

But a business gets specialsts to do HR or ICT or even transfer negotiations and its the end of the fekkin world as we know it.

As Steve Bruce said, the man is part of the fabric of the club.

The consultant has helped us towards a 12 point deduction.

Same question - better than Lees when they played together in 2018?

Really?

Would it make a difference to you if they put it on the website his job role is advisor !!?   It’s absolutely irrelevant

clear as day what his role is, and I wasn’t claiming he’s been successful in anything he’s done , my point is why do we have to have the same discussion about who he is and what he does every single time a player signing is rumoured

Hope not. He’s better than Venancio.

Lees was good when he had good players around him, Loovens, Westwood, Hutchinson but has really struggled forming a formidable partnership since Loovens packed in.

Venancio came into into a struggling team and looked very assured regardless of who he was paired with.

Going forward If I had to make a choice I would go for Venancio.

Lees must have 200 championship appearances yet he plays with the authority of a 16 year old on debut. He would back away all the way up penistone road if somebody runs at him long enough.
