vulture_squadron 352
He was good when i saw him. I remember him talking Ash Baker all the way through his debut and thought it had been a while since we'd had that kind of leadership on the field. If he still wants to play for us despite the -12 then that shows a good attitude as well.
Kopparberg 6,391
Get harassing him on Twitter to sign... Once he agrees then the club can make extremely tentative enquires to him directly. 1
Sefton owl 1,368
27 would offer him a 2 year deal... what was his injury record like, it’s something we need to consider. He was in that era when we signed players regardless of previous injury records

He scored in front of the kop in the last match of the season when we thrashed Norwich and went chuffing berserk. That I do remember. I also remember our fans begging Chansiri to buy him for the next month or so, not knowing we were under a transfer embargo. Venancio really wanted to come as well. Think he was good mates with Pelupessy out of the players we still have.

Our training under Carlos consisted of 5 press ups and a star jump.......but fair play to him for doing more.

NeonLeon 2,655
Very rare nowadays that managers know every player they sign inside out. It’s not like the old days where they had time to go out and scout for players themselves. They employ people to do it for them and they feed back to the manager. It’s no surprise that when a player of Venancio’s quality is available for nothing that it perks interest from his former clubs. If Murphy is going for free next summer we’d undoubtedly be in the queue, just like we are for Windass currently.

Rogers 4,897
Him and Sasso were good to have in the squad. And relatively cheap. Good signings, shame we couldn’t keep them longer
