There is a real disconnect between the players and the fans. On the one hand I agree we need to be pulling together but at the same time the fans really haven’t had anything to get behind, we’ve been awful on the pitch. At the same time fans pay very high prices to watch a side going into a new campaign on -12. The chairman has taken a complete back seat, no communication with the fans, no statement of next seasons aims, no strategy. The fans have not been this disconnected from Sheffield Wednesday in a long time. I don’t even know what the club is about anymore. So, with all due respect to Moses, I don’t think it’s the right time to be telling us we need to be positive and the negativity is influencing player performance. Time for the owner of this football club to show some leadership and get the fans back on side and breathe some life and hope back into the club. Because it’s dying a slow death. you need to charge your phone up
swfcjack27
Odubajo should be delighted to be contracted to a club like Sheffield Wednesday. Woeful footballer. 1 1
Deepcar_lights
Right on, Moses. Agree wholeheartedly - keep the frequency high. That comment from Jord is WOW bad. Let's remember this next time something mental health related comes along.

jonnyowl
There is no justification for abusing anyone online! I get what Odubajo is saying, but he should look after his own performances first and formost, Maybe fans wouldn't get on his back if he wasn't such a disaster for most of the season!

Swiss Toni
That bloke on Twitter isn’t a fan he’s a thug with zero respect. Can he not put his point across without resorting to verbals at a player. Clearly not.

Sgt Wednesday
Moses seems like he gives a fizz, wasn't playing too badly just making really costly mistakes. Players generally make more mistakes when they are trying too hard or are under pressure. The end of the season should be a reset for everyone. 109Waddle
Players aren’t robots at the end of the day, not matter how much money they get paid. Some will cope with the pressure and negativity from crowds when things aren’t going well, others wont. At the level we’re at we’re likely to get a mix of those that are mentally strong and those that aren’t. Social media fuels many divisions and ways of thinking in society. Wednesday should be guiding players on its use and when not to get involved.

Guest Bulgaria
No need to abuse anyone on Twitter, and the guy is obviously a moron, but I have to confess that did make me giggle. Edited August 6, 2020 by Bulgaria

So you may have a point.
