Guest Mcguigan
So any idea when the first £7.5m repayment is due on the stadium that was sold a year or so ago, or this year whatever and that were included in last years accounts, or the years before, this years even or whatever? Nurrrrrrse!!

A significant journal entry of around 60m will then need to be included if we don't appeal Slow news day at the Star No No No - the sale is in the 2018 account they cannot account for it again. Companies house have accepted the account its just the football league that are not. The July 2019 figures are for the period of August 2018 to July 2019 there should be no affect to them about anything happening with the EFL appeal unless of course the sales proceeds have no been paid then DC will have us in front of the EFL again for his dealing with the club.

pazowl55
Am I right in thinking with the stadium sale, putting it in the year we put it in we would have passed FFP. Wasnt that the whole reason for doing it in the first place. So the fact we got a points deduction means they dismissed that and the stadium sale will go in this set of accounts.

FinnishOwl
Maybe they are now figuring out a way to have the stadium sale included also to the latest financial year? Doesn't really do much good to our rebuilding issues if we end up umbongoed again.

alanharper
Just a slight delay to stick in the training ground sale that we're making next year.
TheEnchanter
Hang on... weren't we informed that everything was fine this time last year in regards to the accounts. If we as a club failed to manage FFP successfully and tried plugging the gap then I have little faith that these accounts are going to be glowing and positive. More than happy to be proven wrong.

TrickyTrev
In fairness we can’t submit them until we know which set of accounts the stadium sale goes in, this’ll not be sorted until after any potential appeal.
