Popular Post ruscol85
Twice promoted as assistant manager at Fulham. Acknowledged as being a massive influence in that team. Not good enough for Wednesday though apparently 16 1
upperwinngardensowl
Discarded by a chairman who didn’t think he was “sexy” enough. Never given a chance
ruscol85
Correct. We looked a million times better, with largely the same team, when he took over. Fair play to him

SallyCinnamon
Kind of man we should have kept on at the club. Could he have gone one better than Carlos? Who knows.
cowl
I suspect DC was ‘advised’ to bring someone else in.
Lythamowl
I think Fulham’s promotion is a lot more to do with gray than parker. Really should have hung on to him.

swfcjack27
If he could’ve been persuaded to stay as assistant alongside Carlos we would’ve been a Premier League team after that first season I’m pretty confident of it. Outstanding coach.
katie melua
I thought Scott Parker was Fulham's manager? When did Stuart Gray get the job?

Do you remember what the pitch was like? Pep couldn’t have produced good football on that.
The Night-Owl
Congrats to Stuart Gray but would have much preferred to have seen Brentford to have gone up. Fulham seem like an expensively assembled yo-yo club, whereas Brentford have steadily progressed on and off the pitch over time.
jonnyowl
I highly doubt Gray would have done any better than Carlos! He's probably one of the best assistant managers in the division, would he get a crack at a managers job? I'm not sure he'd want it, probably happy as a number 2!
