However it was perfectly fine for an FA Cup 5th Round match a few seasons ago - Sutton v Arsenal. Pretty sure England played Russia on a plastic pitch in 2007 too. It's like the EFL are the Masons or Stonecutters, some secret group founded purely to make life hell for us mere mortals. They're a rules based organisation with those rules made by its members. Harrogate are not being forced to play at Donny.
