Newcastle waving his big dream job under his nose may have influenced him.

What did he allude to?

He turned it down twice before and went on to manage Sunderland so it wasn't that much of a dream job.

Reading between the lines he alluded to the power and influence Paxo has at the club and it not been for the better.

And you want to sack him just a month away from the start of the new season, and replace him with someone identified by the same people at the club who employed Monk because of his track record?

How do you see that going exactly?

I wanted him sacked before he was hired.

He's over just waiting to be sacked. Stop trying to 're write history. He's not got a great track record  before us. We have played a lot of at times horrible crap thus season. Our defence has parted so often Moses must be coaching them. He has shown nothing to have any hope of him turning things around. We just made a great attempt to get ourselves relegated. Our points deduction is likely to keep him in a job. Think about that we will need to win as many games as we can just to survive SURVIVE  and some of you want to give HIM the chance to do that!

I think more see the importance of having some semblance of stability at the club instead of chopping and changing managers every time we come to a difficult patch.  That doesn't make them a Monk fan as such.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk is the second-favourite with the bookmakers for the vacant Bournemouth job.

The Cherries parted company with Eddie Howe by mutual consent last week and are on the lookout for a new boss to spearhead their promotion push this season. 😂😂😂

🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Question on Garry Monk for all those wanting him out

If he up and left for the Bournemouth job (he's currently bookies favourite to do that) then would you start slating him for dropping us in it last minute by leaving a month before the start of the season, after you've all wanted him gone all this time?

No. I would breath a huge sigh of relief.

Monk has not been a Premier League manager since 2015, does anyone think he'll be one again anytime soon or at all?

Or manage in Europe again anytime soon or ever again?

He isnt required to manage in the Premiership though is he?(currently?) his job(and is the most experienced Manager in the Championship at present) is to deal with a points deduction, and avoid a relegation battle. He also has to rebuild the team, and has shown in the past(and currently with the Man City lad) he has an eye for a Player.Wilder as an example, hadn't Managed in the Premiership at all.....

he hasn't done too badly has he?

Think your stretching your point a bit with that report but I get the feeling that most in and around the club don't see his value if any.

Mate, you fully entitled to 'neg' ,but you can only put your view out there....How can you post 'most around the Club'? think your stretching it a bit there tbh..Even if you are right,it doesn't really matter in the big scheme of things...

Mr Chansiri has allegedly shown the only view that matters at S6 is his

How do we know he is any good.?  Wouldnt say that means he has an eye for a player.

How does anyone ever know?...you look at where they come from(Premier youth set up) look at what the scouts say about them, what (if any) achievements they have to date, what interest from other Clubs there is....What their injury fitness levels are...and above all else...Gut feeling...than you pays your money, and takes your chance!!

Same goes with big name signings,as well as unknowns.Monk has identified some decent Players at past Clubs...also brought some 'duds' in...Just got to hope he blows 'hot' here...He is our Manager.

If he was poached now,or leaves of his own accord(i wouldn't blame him) I believe we would be relegated.Just be 'A bridge too far'....

Aye alreyt

Makes you wonder why the Premier League teams appoint good managers then eh?

And why only the best managers are considered good enough to manage there.

And why all managers aspire to be good enough to manage there.

You're really not just struggling now but you've resorted to some weird kind of wanting to revise how everything in football works

lol

Monk got the Swansea job purely on account of his history with the club.

He had never even managed a team before.

How can it possibly be evidence that he is a good manager.
