bobbycraig
Two players worth a look at, Charlie Goode (Northampton Town), 6ft 5in defender with a huge throw, outstanding in their play off win. Alfie Doughty, left footed wide attacker with Charlton, impressive against us, quick and delivers a good cross. Thoughts?

I'm already being blamed for Jordan Rhodes - I'm not having another expensive calamity thrown back in my face. Owls Loyal
I know some people who rave about Charlie Goode at Northampton but have QPR not already moved in on him?
George
Smooth move. Cheat Charlton into relegation then pick off their best players. 1

Rys Wiggins 3. Morgan Fox 4. Jose Semedo 5. Peter Shirtliff 6. Magic Boughera 7. Steve Mackenzie 8. Gordon Watson 9. John Pearson 10. Mark Bright 11. Paul Williams I'd have any of them though Steve Mackenzie is probably getting on a bit. I've just remembered that ******** Bowyer is their manager and all my guilt about the situation evaporated instantly Edited August 3, 2020 by George

But he's not so clearly not as good as Gordon Watson or Rhys Wiggins. In no way was his omission anything to do with my forgetting he had had a brief stint at Charlton. gurujuan
If we’re reverting back to four at the back, do we have room for another centre back, unless one is leaving The only defensive vacancy we have is left back, and coincidentally, left back is the only defensive position we’ve been linked with

Bluesteel
Goode would be ideal as a captain type and still young. But don’t fancy our chances as much now given others will want him
gurujuan
Just now, Ian said: Are we only having a starting eleven next season then? It’s always a starting eleven, but going on a squad that has two players for every position, we don’t currently have a vacancy for a centre back, as we have 4. We may revert to 3 at the back, and then we would need a centre back. On the basis of the players we’ve been linked with, it looks like a back four

Swiss Toni
At 6ft 5in it’s no good Goode having a long throw if he then hast got the pace to get on the end of it. 1

However, plenty on here bemoan our unbalanced squad, so we do need to avoid overloading certain areas, while ignoring others
