As we don't "own" the ground does this mean the owner will throw a bob or too at improving the facilities?

He won`t spend another penny, is my guess, he doesn`t like where the ground is situated, christ with what he`s p#ssed up the wall, we could have upgraded the ground massively

Yes.

Improvements will be probably replacing the Owls seated logo on the Kop with "ELEV8".  It's gonna be amazing.

Tbf what’s the point of doing up the ground until/if we get promoted to PL? I’m all for doing the stadium up but I’m sure you get funding when promoted to update stadium to a certain degree. Surely then would be a better time to update.
At the moment we’ve more pressing matters than that... however can’t see why he can’t get a lick of paint on kop. It’s almost turned a Huddersfield blue ffs.

He's got so much money that FFP won't allow him to spend but he also chooses not to spend it on Hillsborough.

yup - so committed to the long term future of the club that the few things he could do regardless of FFP - like improve the ground, training and academy system - get nish all invested in them.

We need some revenue coming into the club first

What has the revenue coming into the club got to do with the business that owns the ground? They are by all intents and purposes, completely separate entities. If the club is paying rental for the ground, it could be argued that the landlord has a responsibility to maintain the ground in a satisfactory condition.

No revenue no rent no improvement

Be grateful he's keeping the club afloat because if doesn't keep paying the bills there may not be a club

Don't suppose there's any chance of some sanity on here is there??

Even if it's a teeny weeny miniscule bit of sanity.

Even a minimal amount of logical thought (bearing in mind the circumstances) would do.

The relationship as I now see it:

The club are only responsible for maintaining rental payments. HK entity responsible for ground maintenance. What happens if the club cannot maintain rental payments? Eviction or repossession?
