It wouldn't serve their interests to challenge - provided Wigan's appeal fails.

Exactly, they would have challenged it and demanded our points are deducted this season but the Wigan situation changed that.

Unless Wigan win their appeal, then they will probably turn their attention back to us. It's a crazy state of affairs.

Yes and the EFL and the so called independent panel knew that full well when they delayed announcing their verdict and punishment.

Because next season they will be trying to keep teams from going bust...the two lower leagues look in dire trouble.

It will matter to them.

They will change their stance of the last 6 moths of wanting our points deduction to apply this season.

They will then definitely want it to take effect next season so they have a 12 points start on us.

Not a cat in hells chance, we’ll want it applying for the 2019/20 season, it’ll do you more damage that way, which will hopefully put other clubs off cheating, Charlton haven’t got a pot to Pi$S in, and are an absolute shambles on and off the pitch so having them in the Championship is like a head start anyway, if you go down you’ll have to trim the wage bill massively to comply with rules, plus some of your better players may have relegation release clauses in their contracts, relegation as potential to have you in as bigger bother as it has Sunderland & Ipswich.

Appeal all you want fella. We'll be starting next season in the championship and I'm fairly confident that even with -12, we'll finish above you.

I will take great delight on the day we overtake their points total next year.  I don't like Rotherham much these days but I'd rather have them than the six fingered shufflers.

Instead of taking the mickey out of small clubs like Barnsley and Rotherham, we should be looking at how they manage to successfully operate within the rules.  Something we can't do.

Shef Wed aren't very good at producing footballers, but they apparently are good at turning average players and agents into millionaires.
