Arn't some players paid via 3rd parties..which is against the rules. Can't see the efuckinell, charging them on a wing and a prayer. The sale of the stadium is not illegal but it was valued as a £41million asset. Derby then sold the stadium for £80 mill to a sister company of their owner. Then he leased it back to Derby at the £40 mill valuation. If Derby get away with this then we should of sold Hillsborough to Chansiri’s cat for £150 million. Could be that us, Derby arent the only ones starting on -12 points. If you was a club in the league with accounts close to broke then this season would be a good season to go into administration and would make it a 2 tier league. I just feel that initially some people thought the EFL were just haphazardly trying to attack clubs, but maybe they are quite confident prior to taking them to court (only basing this on their success over us and Wigan - to a lesser extent). Basically the try and say players still have a value at end of their contract so don't include as much expense in the accounts Yep so a player costing 10m on a 4 year contract you allocate 2.5m cost per season for FFP What Derby were doing is saying a player will have a re-sale value of 4m at end of Y3 - so 0.5m less amortisation per year over 3 years But if the player does not re-sign then there would be a 4m hit in Y4. With the lower Leagues in doubt too, football is in a right mess. Even some of the mega rich clubs in the top flight are feeling the pinch too. What will the clubs and fans who gunned for our blood say or do, when other clubs including some of their own might get hit with points deductions for various reasons too? Arsenal have done some redundancies today. Yeah, shows how difficult it is for smaller clubs or clubs further down the pyramid who will find it even harder to get by without fans. Even the clubs coming down, with their failure payments and player sales, may find it difficult too. Just find it ludicrous the EFL stance on the FFP/P&S limit when almost every club will find it difficult to stay within the limit. Like others have said on here the parachute payments and the allowable FFP/P&S limit for the non parachute payment clubs should be increased and made the same amount.
