I don’t remember any Wednesday fan asking for us to recklessly overspend to get to the PL. However, I can recall many that question the viability of our spending habits from the minute we started signing players like Hooper.

Lee A
Is he even a businessman? Or just a trust fund baby? Incompetent, inept, stubborn, obtuse and generally just a bit of a shythouse. Should never, (no matter how pished up and reckless he got with his credit card) have gone anywhere near a football club, he doesn't know the game, he won't take advice from people who do and he's inevitably taken a club with a pretty chequered recent history to an all new low. What he's done to this club is criminal and any lingering support he had left has surely gone. Wednesday will only slide further downwards until he goes now. 4 1

Fast forward 12months and people were definitely questioning why we’d paid so much for Reach and Rhodes when we clearly couldn’t afford it. Twinned with the frees we’d signed on huge wages. We put a lot of trust in this man that he knew what he was doing when he was splashing the cash. Our desperate craving for success blinded us to the fact the bloke was just chucking money at it as a vanity project. So it’s not like he wasn’t warned by the fans that there was unease at how he was operating.
cowl
Obviously out. He didn't understand the game right from the outset, though to be fair to him at least he was honest about that, and yet more than 5 years later he seems to have somehow managed to know even less than when he started. He doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes. I'm not sure he even recognizes them as mistakes. But what are the chances of him selling up? The likelihood is that we're stuck with him until he either runs out of money (which probably wouldn't end well for us) or we somehow manage to get promoted to the Prem before then and at least there would be the chance he could get out by selling us for whatever he'd consider a good offer under the circumstances (which judging by his actions thus far would probably need to be an offer of £10 billion). Very true , my worry is if he does go will he care, and he obviously has no clue about football , so he could sell us completely down the river and we become another Portsmouth. I’m sure there’d be a fair few jokers like Mammadov willing to take us on but that would surely be a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire. That’s the real concern, he’ll eventually cut his losses and not be interested in the welfare of the club once he’s gone. Unlike most on here, this club isn’t in his blood, his relationship with the fan base is at its lowest. And all this was avoidable.

Guest LondonOwl313
This is a too simplistic question... in or out we need a plan and strategy on what we’re going to do. No point saying out if there’s no alternative on the table

It’s completely off to say sections of the fanbase didn’t flag it up during the ‘good times’ Yes many fans were warning of the potential future problems if we just kept throwing money at players with zero resale value. The fact that virtually every player he signed has left for nothing shows incredible incompetence in itself. On top of that, the couple of young prospects that could have potentially been sold for decent money one day, also left for nothing. It’s completely unsustainable and we knew it back then. It seems, whether through his own intuition or maybe the advice he was getting, DC genuinely believed he was just going to sign a load of proven players and get promoted before ffp caught up with us. No contingency plan, no long term plan. Just all out poo or bust.

bolton9owl
Chansiri has always said he would leave if the fans show they don’t want him as Chairman/Owner and certainly after today’s verdict there doesn’t appear that many are shouting for him to stay. Those that are currently backing him are actually more worried about a worse type of owner getting hold of this club and what further damage that could bring. or simply that any potential investor would see us as currently as a pretty bad investment. Either way just answer these simple questions :- 1) Are we a better club after 5 years of his management - that’s a no 2) Are we seen as a well respected club by the football fraternity - sadly yes we are right now. 3) Do you think Chansiri will continue to finance a business that has repeatedly lost millions since he took over and show no prospect of making anywhere near a respectable profit in the foreseeable future. in conclusion I don’t believe that Mr Chansire has a bottomless pocket and being a proud man he will definitely be hurt by today’s verdict therefore I believe this signals the start of the end and he will be encouraged by his family to cut his losses and sell as soon as possible.
