Manwë
Genuinely surprised that after two transfer embargoes and a points deduction for breaching rules, and the ticket prices being top of the table while we scratch around at the bottom in our rented stadium, there are still fans who believe the chairman is the man who just made a few well intentioned mistakes guv and he is the best thing for our club right now. 6
TINGLE75
Too much invested now I'm afraid. Ofcourse he also owns our only asset which is the ground. It feels like hes got us by the balls. I really fear for our future. I don't want to think we could be the next Bolton or Pompey but it's very possible.

We've had a points deduction and hurtling down at a very fast pace. It's being the next Bury that is the very real threat.

It’s not the action of someone with a long term strategy. I’d rather have a Tony Stewart type owner that makes sure ends meet and we aspire to be the best we can be. Without bankrupting the club and selling off all its property. Totally agree with you mate. DC hasn’t got a clue and he’s running the club into the ground. Everything he’s done over the past few years is pretty much the opposite of what a competent football club chairman would do. The thing is that he’s fúcked us (and his bank account) up so badly that the only way he’ll recoup his money is if we make it to the PL, and that looks as far away now as it has done for a long time. The alternatives are going in to admin (is he really gonna admit failure and write off 100m+?), or someone buying him out for silly money in the middle of a global pandemic when financial markets are extremely volatile. I don’t like it any more than you or anyone else does, but realistically we’re stuck with him and there’s nowt we can do
vulva
Nearly 30% still back DC. It beggars belief.

Steve Down South
So dream scenario is Jeff Bezos goes on ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and traces family back to Manor Top. Even more incredibly, they were all Owls and Jeff decides he would like to own a piece of family heritage, Meanwhile, in the real world we are stuck with Chansiri. His tenure as Chairman has been an unmitigated disaster, but I still think he needs to stay if he’s still willing to bankroll the club. I genuinely don’t see any alternative until we complete next season at least. There may be buyers out there, but that is fraught with difficulties. Please don’t start going on about Amanda Staveley, she’s just another chancer and don’t want to take Saudi money at any price. Can’t see anything left to do but to get behind the team next season and see if the crowd can really play a positive part in fighting against relegation.
Miffed
Im sure the plethora of consortiums who were circling the media the last couple of times we were up for sale are sat waiting in the wings to buy the club again.

pazowl55
I have always been a Chansiri in person. But if there was someone willing to buy the club now then I would happily see him go. But that's the problem isnt it. What chairman is going to take on a club with a minus 12 point deduction. I am not gonna say be careful what you wish for as I dont want to win Cliche Bingo. But looking at it with my realistic head on. It's not going to be in Chansiri's interest to get out now, unless he just washes his hands and says I am done. As no one will pay what he wants for the club knowing a Premier League dream isnt realistic next season. So I think we are stuck with him for 12 months minimum. So now I am looking for a reaction from Chansiri. Something to get all the supporters back on side. And my guess is it will be the only way he knows how. Chuck money at it. We could end up in court, points deduction, on the verge of League 1 and the most expensive season ticket in the League. We need to tread very carefully. 2

FreshOwl
No suitors so he can’t get rid of us. It’s either keep bankrolling the club or put us in admin, would love to know what the chairman is thinking right now. What are his long term interests? Is he a seller as a businessperson? We'll get a reaction alright, probably a midnight statement saying its the fans fault for not investing into his little dreamworld schemes and as punishment the 2017 away GK socks have been increased to £780 in the club shop.
DobbinTheDonkey
This club and generally most football clubs are loss making businesses. With the amount of losses we suffer, any 'successful' businessman would be selling us for a pound. Trying to recoup any losses is futile, they will only increase unless we hit the big time. What would you do carry on ploughing money in or cut your losses, me? I'd be doing the latter
