GARRY MONK vs NEW MANAGER THREAD

Pearson is the man but he won't come. I suppose our owner could make him the kind of offer he couldn't refuse though it's worth a try. I've always been a big Megson fan and I think they should have brought him back after Carlos left but I worry now that he's been out of the game too long.

Now we know we're going to have to make up 12 points next season, and up to now without a forward line and the rest all playing mediocre it's finally time to bring in the man that will save us next season, ... he's old, he's wise and he's NEIL WARNOCK.

I think we've been very very lucky to serve the punishment next season because it should have been THIS season fact. Charlton Athletic are considering appealing the decision, .. and they could win the appeal.

Bring grandad in, even if it's only to make sure we stay up.

What a b100dy mess this club is in.

We weren’t charged with anything relating to last season, so why should any punishment be back dated?

We need a local man with a big character in charge. Someone who will frighten the living daylights out of the players. Brian Blessed anyone?

Make him DoF. First thing he'd probably do is tell Monk to 'bugger off'? 😂

Chris Turner, Danny Wilson both had connections with Wednesday.

They both were very successful managers with us.  I'm liking your style.

Ola Tidman as goalkeeper coach, Beswetherwick as defensive coach, Hirsty the club chef and dietician, Nile Ranger community officer, Abdi our fitness coach, Colin West as penalty coach.

Get it done Chansiri, Make Wednesday Great Again.

You forgot Darren Potter as ‘Corner taking specialist’......or maybe I’m being too far fetched with that one 😀

Interested to know why people think Megson can do a job with a team starting on minus 12 points.

He needed Dave Jones's help to get us out of League One with one of the best squads in the division.

He did really did he, as Davey said the other day, he was sacked for racially abusing MM and calling him a Serbiancunt in front of the squad.

Didnt know that. Wouldn't have finished above United under his though had he continued.

Get one of the ‘sons’ in ASAP and yes it will cost CC to pay off Monk but each one of these ex players will have SWFC at heart. That’s also what’s missing a manager that has a bond with SWFC (think about the ‘dark side!’) After the ‘appeal’ the club needs to buckle down and stop signing so called ‘stars’ who have no feelings for the club except for the money even though hardly any ‘stars’ would want to sign now.
It’s now a time to grow in strength and resolve and IMO these two ex managers should be approached to steer our wonderful club to better times. CC should bite the bullet and do what’s best for the club because it’s his like it or not and spend wisely, as an owner of something you have to look after it, starting off with a new manager.

Dinosaur alert!!!!!

Very mature that mate

A mid season deduction is still a points deduction

Makes a massive difference, you still have the chance to turn it around. The mindset is totally different. Look at Wigan, they went past us and almost made it!!

The season they had 9 points deducted, Monk was there from the start of it, was he not?

He was, and he got a very mediocre squad performing above what was expected of them, with the threat of a points deduction hanging over them until it was confirmed with nine games to go.

His successor has struggled to get a tune out of the squad despite the emergence of Bellingham, and almost took them down this year.

Monk has shown that he can galvanise a squad in adversity before. Granted, it didn't happen here last season, but I suppose it might depend on having players with the right mentality.

This is exactly when a club (I said a club..I know this club too well) would use it as an opportunity to rebuild. Someone like the Cowley's .... Three year plan. Year one rebuild and mid table. No pressure to go up

Is this not what the people at Huddersfield said !
