BREAKING NEWS - EFL VERDICT - 12 POINTS

Sounds like a complete ‘best we can do’ load of ballcocks by the EFL. Season screwed because of COVID, clubs in serious financial problems across the whole EFL, a shambles of leadership and legal procedures by the EFL but they need to look as though they’ve done something. I’ll never stop being a Wednesdayite  so I couldn’t give a fizz about which league we are in but given the financial sheite with clubs like Villa and Derby and Wolves it’s yet another complete contradiction and proves once again how, if anything, football is run by totally arrogant, self absorbed and opinionated  wankbags who have no understanding of what they should be doing to support football. But it makes them look .... even more stupid and mardy.

You honestly believe the EFL are the issue here?

I wasn't expecting play offs next season and getting sixty two points will keep us up and not go up or down either with or without deduction . Another shambles like after Christmas continuing next season would relegate us with or without deduction next season . We know what we're up against now so instead of just licking our wounds let's get the siege mentality that the pigs have and not let it spoil our season , f@@k the efl lets have a good season

There's nothing in me that can justify supporting the regime that has caused this to happen. Sorry.

The club and the players and the team will get my support. And its a huge shame they won't get the fans next season because I do think they need them to even have a chance of survival.

Chansiri is done for me. The list of things over the years is too much to accept. Just try to remember all of the poo . The pricing structures, the blaming of the fans, the disastrous squad management, the embargo lies, more fan blaming. The list of soecific events is relentless. Nah he's done for me.

As long as it leads to support for the team then that’s the main thing. I can see plenty of issues with DC after this. But in the interim without him or a credible alternative it all gets worse. That’s all I’m trying to say.

Why? The hearing results weren't due until the week before the start of the 20/21 season. It would never have applied this season due to the timings. The fact covid got in the way has no bearing on anything.

I don't think anyone who has been passing comment on this topic would have feasibly know that was the case.

The impression everyone was under had been, potential points deduction this season.

Well the hiring of a 'specialist' to fight the charge would ring true with that.

Something tells me this isn't the end of this.

The only slight crumb of comfort (if you take it that way) is that it is now over. We shouldn't fight it, get on with preparing the manager with the tools he needs for next season to give us a chance of overhauling this and staying up.

Not that many teams make a good fist of doing it tbh - christ, it's hard to be positive about anything to do with this.

Going to be very hard now to persuade the players on his shopping list to come.

What a disaster. We finally get the chance to release some high earners and get an opportunity to rebuild and we're going to be left with the scraps that no one wants. This will put us back years.

We can't argue with a decision where we've officially been found to be corrupt and still got a lifeline

I've said that the owner is bang to rights for many years. And I've said so here and I've been slagged off.

We need to accept the decision and start the new season with a chance. But we've got to stop playing the zombies, stop giving new contracts to the zombies.

Oops. Without the zombies we can't field a team.

No more blacklists. No more power trips from the owner.

Omg we are doomed. If the owner doesn't somehow mend his ways then the next sentence may be removal from the league totally.

Did I say we were guiltless ? I think there is a bigger issue and problem. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs really big spectacles

19/20: 61 points would be needed to stay up with a -12 deduction

18/19: 53

17/18: 54

It’s shít news, but it is manageable. Getting recruitment right this summer is absolutely vital

Probably be a record points total next season.
