This is one of the best investments you can make in football

Match worn shirts are extremely valuable items

I think giving Big Dave a one year contract would’ve been a very good investment, but, before I get shot down in flames, yes, I know there’s a separate thread on this topic !

What I mean is that if you can get hold of one they're worth a packet as they increase in value as time goes by

You can make a fortune dealing in em

I've always wondered if that's true.  I've got Jack Hunt's match worn shirt from the Poppy appeal auction a few years ago, I'd be amazed if anyone offered me more than I paid for it though!

Just not bothered...

Step 1 Buy a load of ladies knickers

Step 2 Buy a fish

Step 3 Buy a bag of flour

Step 4 Dab knickers gusset with fish and flour

Sell as used ladies underwear.

Step 5 Apply to Dragon’s Den for assistance in marketing to a world-wide audience

Can’t see any problems unless everyone gets COVID and loses their sense of smell.

With your obvious extensive knowledge on said subject, what type of fish does one recommend?

Are we supposed to ignore the name of the player who wore the shirt, or the significance of the match it was worn in?

Usually a tin of sardines in brine does the trick. Once a month change to sardines in tomato sauce though.

Scratch and sniff.

Yeah but I've found the crusty bits either get

A) stuck in your nails

or

B) go up your nose

:duntmatter:

or

C) both

lol

To be fair, the shirts this season are pretty unique when they have the sponsor on. Not too many knocking about.

a previous auction this season I think Bannan and Forestieri went for £1000+ too rich for me.

it’s all for a good cause, so each to their own.

Plus it’s only kinky if you sniff it lol
