Looking very impressive in this game, particularly in the second half

Showed glimpses last year, but looks more confident to try new things in this game compared to him last season

Anyone to impress under Jos was always going to be an uphill task.

Although we have to credit Jos for bringing him and Hector to the club

True or was it someone above him?

Onomah and Hector both stood out and looked impressive in a strong side.

But surely Onomah is no good?  All the experts on here said he was lazy.

He was at times!! Clearly a player was there but didnt show it for us enough. Doing well in a good attacking fulham side

I agree.

Maybe he gives more for a club he's contracted to, particularly in a  matches like recent.

Scores a decent goal and a half decent display = reflects his entire career.

He was lazy and useless for 80% of the time, at Villa and us.

Saying that, he could have found his club to perform at a higher level though.

As you say, plain for anyone to see he was a decent player with potential, but unfortunately one we couldn’t afford to sign.  I just never understood how so many could write him off so quickly, and seemingly take such delight in announcing how poor he was.  Probably some of the same people who tried to tell me Antonio was no good.

Sorry, but if you couldn’t see the player he could be then I give up - he certainly wasn’t lazy or useless in my view.  The lazy tag was just something people seemed to latch onto without giving it much thought.  Maybe part of the problem was the fact he was a player with Premier League potential playing in a very ordinary Championship team.

You can get called lazy at Hillsborough for not getting forward 70 yards one second and getting back the same 70 yards within the next second, even if you’ve just tried something positive and lost it.

Nice for players when they get proper support from fans instead of slated after a game.

Id rather have our fanbase 100/100 than fulhams cheers

do you really think fulham or any club dont have their own keyboard warriors in this day and age
