Guest The Horse

I'm with him.

In fact, Gary, as they say in those Star Wars films...

The Horse will be with you.

Always.

Look over history - the managers that have had some success with us have been big characters ...

Charlton

Bruce would have been the next I think.

We need the someone who can galvanise, lead and get everyone going. But who?

Sturrock too. Don't think it should be forgotten what he did at our most awful time

“I’m not going to shy away from the negativity.."

“I know people can’t see that but I can see that journey.."

"I want to reconnect with the fans.."

Now why on earth would you think you're disconnected from the fans Garry...

I think everyone agrees that If Monk thought anything about the club rather than his own skin he would do the righteous thing and resign but I don’t believe he has the bottle to do that so let’s see if our Chairman recognizes the poo job he has done and tells him to pack his bags - surely we can’t suffer another season of his mismanagement.

Well, early exit polls on the back him or sack him vote on here don’t look too promising for him.

It’s not wholly his fault of course but he really hasn’t helped himself one iota.

There will be fewer fans who would want him to connect with them than we have first teamers left for next season.

Remind me again what success we had with Carvahal?

Not if he clears his office at the ground first then clears his desk at the training ground..

I certainly don’t agree.

I think he would do what most, If not all managers would do, and see this summer as chance to put his own stamp on the team and try and improve things.

I don't trust him to improve anything

That’s a different point though.

Any manager who had came in to this club when he did and saw a squad well past it’s sell-by-date, would be looking to get through this season and to start building for next season.

No manager is going to be lumbered with a squad he doesn’t want for a season and leave when he has the chance to make the changes he wants.
