Iorfa slips a little but is still in range of the man out wide but Leeds comes storming across with no chance of stopping a cross and leaves a striker completely on his own in the penalty area. I thought the first Boro goal beggared belief but Lees, compounded by Widsmith's biscuit wrists tops it.
Whitechapel Owl
Christ we finished below Stoke in the end. Pathetic.
GoldGigsChris
Opportunity to build a team for promotion, and typical for Wednesday, we're now looking for players to get us out of League 1

Whoever come in, please no more midgets, get some height, pace and power in the future side. Thought Shaw looked promising to be fair - more physical than I expected. Bannan is a lovely footballer but any reasonable offer and I would sell. I actually think he’s too good for the team we’ve become, and it no longer works for us or him. scilly owl
The sad thing is I fully expected us to loose tonight... even after we took the lead. We have a loosing defeatist mentality I’m afraid.
Mosborough-owl
I just don’t get it. That second half we was the much better side. So many games this season we’ve the better side.. yet we still end up losing. It’s not as if we are playing bad either! We seem to make a mistake and it ends up costing us every time! Other teams make a mistake and they get all the luck in the world.
109Waddle
If we go down, that will mean Barnsley, Blades and Leeds are all in leagues above us. I’m close to being done with football. Edited July 22, 2020 by 109Waddle

IF Monk goes, who ever comes in will have the bare bones of a squad, he will not know who cares or is good enough or will have to bring in 15 or so players and guess where we need strengthening.

We need a manager who can work on a show string and get the best out of not alot. Stuart Gray would have finished higher in the table with this squad this season than Monk has. Yet he got binned for not being good enough.

Johnny Concrete
I've been of the opinion of just keeping Monk and letting him rebuild for next season, however if I'm been honest i don't see this working now. I think it's best to call it a day and move Garry on. However next thing is who do we bring in? What respectable manager would walk into this circus? Seriously this whole season, our own downfall, the letting the season continue because of the greed of money at the risk of people's health, the complete mess with this EFL, I've lost interest with football in general not just Wednesday.
