A conclusion most of us will arrive at without wasting 53 seconds on that clip. lol

We were a car crash of a club then heading in one direction,  jump forward all those years and despite spending a small fortune we are still a joke of a club heading in one direction and we wonder why any half decent manager( Bruce aside) gives us a wide birth.

Solid advice by Fergie ...Moyes went of to Everton and took them to their highest position since the haydays of the mid 80s.

Ferguson was streets ahead of anyone else, especially in the fact that he sustained it for such a long time, clearly knew the game inside out. IMHO during Fergies time, only Wenger came remotely close and that was only during his first decade.

Wednesday and Everton were quite similar then and neither had the same money as others. Sliding doors moment!

He makes special mention on Wednesday but also mentions turning down Southampton and Forest as well.

Oh well, hardly devastating.

Think Moyes would have been a good manager at the wrong time.

Similar to now a manager is on a hiding to nothing if things off the pitch are in a mess.

And there's the reason he got the Man U job. Right up Fergies arse.

I asked Alex this, I asked Alex that, we was so knowledgeable this, he was so knowledgeable that.

Make your own mind up, ya wee fannie!!
