Monk had a 36.4% win ratio at Swansea in the Premier league.

BTW, I'm not pro Monk other than he's our current incumbent, wouldn't be bothered if he was replaced, but curious how some stats and excuses used to pan one manager are used to support another.

You lot after him are in a dream world, as if he'd come here, he can quite easily walk in to Premier League jobs. It's embarassing to think we'd be getting managers of that level of prestige, did you not see the short-list last time around?

He waited a good while for his last job and it hasn't lasted long has it.?

Said several times i believe,he doesn't want to manage here..?.Doesnt he have family here?

He’s never said that. It’s a popular misconception.

However for what it’s worth I don’t think we have the right chairman to lure him here.

Having read that it’s pretty clear, he’d take the job if you give him full control of football matters.  We can dream

During the Summer 2 years ago Radio Sheffield were doing a show and they bumped into Nigel Pearson..think it was at a local craft or antique fair. They had a chat and asked him about his managerial ambitions.

He confirmed that he definitely wants to be a manager again but he’s loving the break spending time with his family.

He said he’s fortunate because he’s not desperate to find work...so he can afford to be fussy and wait for the right club.

Radio Sheffield asked him directly could he ever be a future SW manager.

He said it’s very unlikely....he explained that he still lives in the area...him and his family are very settled and love living in Sheffield.

He said he still has a strong affinity with the club and bumps into Wednesday fans all the time....receiving kind words.

He wants to keep it that way and loves the freedom that he can go our socialising with family and forget about football pressures.....privacy and freedom to leave his home without hassle to him or his family is really important to him

So he’s not likely to ever work for any club in the area he lives. Then he joked that one day he might move house.

And he went on to say

"I have never turned it down before because I have never been given the opportunity. We are talking hypothetically"

From last years stir

Yes he’s mental but we need to give him and Shakespeare anything they want. We will keep monk sack him within 12 months and so on and so on. We had it with Bruce but went ******** up we need a top manager to get us up.

Don’t forget though he was part of the stitch up re. young Hirsty....

Pearson is an absolute walloper, I don't want him anywhere near this club

As you say,  His part in the G. Hirst farce isn't exactly hidden.

Comes across as an arrogant bully...worse than Megson...those 'qualities ' just don't work in football anymore.

I don’t like his role in the G Hirst scenario.

But I don’t think a comparison with GM is fair. He has got players working for him. I appreciate that now players are a protected breed but NP has shown he can motivate on the right side of aggression.

He’s just got the sack for physically laying into them and most of our lot are saying our idiot bunch should have been cuddled and nurtured.

Make your fuckingminds up!!

I couldnt give a throw if our manager is an any of the following:

Absolute walloper

Full weight bell sniff

A fringing wisbit

Jelly butt mum cruncher

Mumbling dirt burgler

I just want them to be a winner.
